Create a backup
Open Settings → Backup & restore. Choose the backup option and save the file somewhere you can still access after changing devices.
Settings also includes automatic backup setup through Dropbox. Follow the setup steps in the app to configure it.
Restore a backup
Put the backup file on the device, for example in Downloads. Select the appropriate restore option in Settings and choose the file.
A full restore can replace existing local data. Read the app’s message before continuing. Requirements differ depending on the backup format and whether you are signed in. Contact us before restoring if you are unsure.
Share an individual list
Open the list’s three-dot menu and choose Send shopping list. Select the importable format if the recipient should be able to import the list into Lister.
For ongoing collaboration, shared groups are more convenient: changes synchronize without sending new files each time.
